BEST 051 - Provincial Better Employment Strategies and Techniques

(120 contact hours)

The goal of BEST (Provincial Better Employment Skills and Techniques) is to enhance the life and employment readiness skills of adult learners. Students will be prepared to pursue occupational and educational goals in a changing and diverse world. A work experience assignment of no less than 60 hours is mandatory for completion of the course.

Prerequisites: “C” or higher in ENGL 030  or ENGL 10 or equivalent or Advanced Level Placement on the CCP English Assessment.
Restrictions: Must have been admitted to an NLC program.
