ECED 215 - Curriculum IV: Working With Children With Diverse Abilities (3.0 credits)
Early Childhood students will continue to increase their skills, abilities and knowledge in the care and guidance of children from infancy to the kindergarten years. Emphasis is on addressing diverse abilities in curriculum development and environments. Child development principles will provide the basis for program planning and implementation. The importance of working with families and network professionals will be discussed.
Prerequisites: HDEC 100 , HDEC 101 , HDEC 102 , HDEC 103 , HDEC 104 , ECED 109A , ECED 101 , ECTA 121, ECEC 100 , and ECEC 201 (ECED 203A may be taken concurrently). Pre- or Co-Requisites: ECED 203A Non-Course Prerequisites: Ministry of Justice Schedule B CRC (works with children). Restrictions: Must be in an ECE or Human Services program (ECEC2,WIL, LTD,HSPD2,VISIT.EC)
