CHEM 103 - Fundamentals of Chemistry I (4.0 credits)
This course builds on the foundations of CHEM 11 and 12, examining the organization of the atom and how our ideas have progressed over the last century. This information is used to derive several different, yet compatible, models of chemical bonding, and to account for the behavior of some representative elements.
Prerequisites: Chemistry 12 and Math 12 OR consent of the instructor. ~ Lecture Hours: 45 ~ Seminar Hours: 15 ~ Lab Hours: 45 ~
