CRIM 230 - Criminal Law

This course will introduce the student to the basic principles of Canadian criminal law, the concepts of actus reus, mens rea, regulatory offences, modes of participation in crime, inchoate crimes, mental disorder as a defense, and defenses to a criminal charge.

Prerequisites: CRIM 135 Introduction to Canada Law and Legal Institute
