PNUR 099 - Anatomy and Physiology for Practical Nurses

(75 contact hours)

This course is an introduction to the human body and concentrates on the structure and function of 11 body systems. It also discusses various health promotion strategies that work toward optimal function of these systems. Common medical terminology is discussed in relation to the different body systems.

Pre- or Co-Requisites: Biology 12 or equivalent with a grade of C (60%) or better, or BIOL 050  or equivalent with a grade of C (60%) or better.
Restrictions: Must have been admitted to an NLC program (non CE)
