PSYC 212 - Abnormal Psychology (3.0 credits)
This introductory course on abnormal psychology encompasses a broad area of the malfunctioning mind taking an interdisciplinary perspective. Topics covered during the course include the history and etiology of abnormal behaviors, assessment issues and treatment approaches. Most time of the course, however, is devoted to discussing a variety of current issues of abnormal psychology, such as stress, anxiety, mood disorders, eating and personality disorders, substance abuse, sexual variations, and psychoses.
Prerequisites: PSYC 101 and PSYC 102 or consent of the instructor ~ Lecture Hours: 45 ~
