ENGL 205 - Introduction to Canadian Literature

(3.0 credits)

This course explores writers, themes and genres in Canadian literature. Students may be asked to study works from the nineteenth century, but the emphasis will be on twentieth century prose, poetry, and drama.

Prerequisites: Any two of ENGL 100 - Academic Writing (opens in a new tab) , ENGL 105 - Nonfictional Prose (opens in a new tab) , ENGL 111 - Poetry and Drama (opens in a new tab) , or ENGL 112 - Prose Fiction (opens in a new tab) .
