ECED 111 - Practicum 3 (4.0 credits)
This third level practicum course provides students further opportunities to observe and work in community based early care and learning programs for children 30 months to school age. Emphasis is on: reflecting current research in best practice to enhance young children’s learning and development, achieving the ECE Occupational Competency skills, and professionalism. Students will be required to take a lead role in the centre’s day to day functions.
Prerequisites: ECEC 100 , ECED 101 ,ECED 109A , ECED 110 , HDEC 100 , HDEC 101 , HDEC 102 , HDEC 103 , HDEC 104 , and HDEC 121 * depending on student completion plans any of ECEC 201 , ECEC 202 , ECEC 200 may be taken concurrently ECED 111;
Criminal Record Check Schedule B works with “children” or works with “children and vulnerable adults.”;
Admission to the Early Childhood Education Program
Restrictions: Must be in an ECE program (ECEC2)
