HADM 311 - Professional Nursing Seminar

(1.0 credits)

This seminar encompasses a variety of professional concepts in the nursing profession, with emphasis on the roles of Registered Nurses. Students will explore topics such as Scope of Practice, Professional Standards, Practice Standards, value clarification, legal and ethical issues, the responsibilities of Registered Nurses, application of theory to practice, interprofessional teams, professional associations, and union matters.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of HSCI 100
