IMHA 311 - Therapeutic Relationships

(3.0 credits)

This course introduces learners to effective communication skills and strategies for facilitating recovery and change. Students will study and apply advanced skills to establish effective therapeutic alliances. Self-examination of personal values and beliefs is presented as a means of improving relationships with clients.

Pre- or Co-Requisites: IMHA 310  
Restrictions: Must be in the Interprofessional Mental Health and Addictions Advanced Certificate Program (IMHA1).
