MATH 001 - Skills for Student Success - Math

(60 contact hours)

This course is for students needing to refresh their math skills. This course will provide a foundation of basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. This course incorporates topics that will set the learner up for success such as study skills, time management, test taking skills and creating a learner portfolio. This course will assist a student to build and reflect on their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual readiness to engage in an academic program. 

Restrictions: Must have been admitted to an NLC program.
