ABTC 114 - Human Relations and Job Search Skills (3.0 credits)
This course concentrates on personal and professional development skills needed by workers in today’s workplace. These skills include self-examination and assessment, development of effective communication skills, interpersonal skills, client relations, teamwork, problem solving, and an understanding of business ethics. Students will explore the kinds of vocations to which they may be suited. They will research jobs of their choice and be introduced to labour regulations. Students will create resumes and cover letters and participate in mock job interviews.
Restrictions: Must be in ABT (Applied Business Technology) program (ABTC*).
