PNUR 122 - Health Promotion 2

(30 contact hours)

This course focuses on health promotion as it relates to the aging process including exploration of health promotion activities aimed at supporting clients to maintain their health. The concepts of health promotion, physical and mental wellness, normal ageing changes and continued independence are examined.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of all Level 1 courses and Consolidated Practice Experience 1
Co-Requisites: PNUR 120   Professional Communication 2, PNUR 121   Professional Practice 2, PNUR 123  Variations in Health 2, PNUR 124  : Pharmacology 2, and PNUR 125  : Integrated Nursing Practice 2
Restrictions: Must be in the Practical Nurse Diploma Program (PNUR2).
