EASL 052 - English for Academic Purposes Level Three: Listening and Speaking

(144 Contact Hours)

EASL 052 is the intermediate proficiency level course in the English as a Second Language department. In this combined skills course, students will develop the necessary skills to improve their listening and speaking English ability. This course is appropriate for students intending to study courses at an English-language post-secondary institution.

Prerequisites: One of:
- Completion of EASL 040  
- CaMLA Placement Test 51 minimum plus writing sample
- IELTS 5.5 or its equivalent
- completion of an intermediate (low) course (CEFR B1)
- permission of the instructor

 
Restrictions: Must have active program other than CONT or WFTR.
