ECED 208 - Practicum - Infant and Toddlers

(4.0 credits)

In this 225 hour practicum course, students reflect upon previous experiences, assimilate new knowledge, theory, and research, as they apply it to their practice with infants, toddlers, and families.

Prerequisites: ECEC 100 (opens in a new tab) , ECEC 200 (opens in a new tab) , ECEC 201 (opens in a new tab) , ECEC 202 (opens in a new tab) , ECED 101 (opens in a new tab) , ECED 109A (opens in a new tab) , ECED 110 (opens in a new tab) , ECED 111 (opens in a new tab) , ECED 150 (opens in a new tab) , HDEC 100 (opens in a new tab) , HDEC 101 (opens in a new tab) , HDEC 102 (opens in a new tab) , HDEC 103 (opens in a new tab) , HDEC 104 (opens in a new tab) , and HDEC 121 (opens in a new tab)  
Pre- or Co-Requisites: ECEC 203 (opens in a new tab) , ECED 203A (opens in a new tab) , ECED 207 (opens in a new tab) , and ECED 215 (opens in a new tab)  
Non-Course Prerequisites: Criminal Record Check Schedule B works with “children” or works with “children and vulnerable adults.” Admission to the Early Childhood Education and Care Diploma Program or Human Services Advanced Professional Development Program.
Restrictions: Must be in an ECE or Human Services program (ECEC2, HSPD2)
